I know you have to set your modem up identically to the other persons,
however, do you have to have the same speed computer as the other
racer? Thank you for your help

I have asked this same question to some friends. When i connect a
Pentium 100 and a 200 there are bursts of errors during connection,
even with a null-modem cable.
In theory the fastest computer slows down to match the slowest one.
But I really think they should be nearly the same kind.
In some net help files they say that if you experience errors in the
local net in the slowest computer you should get rid of it.
I am searching for a program that reduces the processor speed, but I
havent found it yet (I have started doing one, that keeps running in a
different windows so that the processor has to divide between both
tasks). I dont know if it will work.
Could you tell me where can I find a program to reduce the computers
processor speed ?
