Finally!  A pit AI for the new Papyrus version of Daytona that doesn't
cause a pile-up in turn 1!!!!  Enjoy this file and send it to who ever
you want that's a N3 racing fanatic!  This is my first attempt at
editing an AI file so if you see anything goofy with it, let me know.
I tried to fix the exit and entry of the cars in the pits.  Cars now
stay off the track in turn one and go almost all the way down the
backstretch before coming out onto the track and into traffic (with a
little speed built up too).  Also, the cars stay further away from the
inside wall when entering the pits to reduce backups.  Once again
enjoy!!!

Credit goes to Robert Sisko for LPEdit4.5 (The editor that I used).

Where do you get LPEdit4.5?

I'll 2nd that... where might LPedit4.5 be found - I tried to use the
LPedit for N2 to see if I could do anything with the N3 Elkhart Lake
AI, and it doesn't even try to recognize it - which is weird 'cause I
thought the files were practically the same format from N2 to N3

I was wondering the same thing 'cause I tried using the LPEdit for
N1/N2/ICR for N3 but it didn't recognize anything

Then while looking for the elusive version 4.5 I discovered that the
one I have IS 4.5 (I have a bad habit of not always looking at version
numbers) so I unzipped it again, and it does work with N3 - go
figure...

it's at ThePits on the stockcar editors page...
http://www.theuspits.com/fbody/nascar/index.html  - the date is 30 AUG
99

~just be sure you unzip it with the "use folder names" option - all
the files are in only one folder, but for some reason it didn't work
the first time when I just made a folder and put them in....
