So you're the reason my news download has taken three times as long
as usual ... for something that doesn't interest me in the slightest.

Usenet is definitely a read only medium.  Refer to yesterdays
thread, subject "Let's take a vote".  You'll see that the majority
of people DON'T WANT BINARIES IN THIS GROUP!!!

This is a discussion group, not a binaries group.

Take your binaries to:

alt.binaries.simulators.autos

By all means post a pointer here refering people to the binaries
group.

Very nice! However you've broken 2 golden rules.

1) This is a discussion group and binaries should be posted to
alt.binaries.simulators.autos.  Think of all the poor souls who are
sat there waiting for a 1Mb file to download that don't want it.

2) You've broken the law. The Dat file is copyright Papyrus. Yes
you've modified the taladega references but the rest of the file is
Taladega.Dat. Don't be suprised if you get an e-mail from Papyrus.

I'd get ready for some hate mail.

I made my version of Daytona by taking the Talledega track and
converting it to Daytona. Since I felt it would be silly to have two
tracks the same just for the sake of a name I decided to make Daytona
a non restrictor plate track. I have changed the pitting of the AI's
to 25 to 30 laps. This corresponded with the tire wear that I
experienced in a test.

Have fun at 230mph.
