Drivers:
We just completed the 3rd day of beta testing the new
FASTLAP 97 for NASCAR 2 program at Taladega. These
results are all unoffical. The conditions for this
was 72 degrees, 22 gallons, 0 wind and 2 laps. It
looks like Henze and Zagoricnik are swpping times
as they are 1 and 2 and 2 and 1 with both sending in
faster and faster times. You will see in the 195
speed area's many common faces (Grandy, Platts, Peluso
Dotson, and Hudson) that have a reputation for speed.
We havent heard yet from the traditional fast guys like
FARR, PETERS, DATA, CARR, WHITE, AGOPSPOWICZ, YUHASZ,
PALMESE, BONNAR and FLORY).
Expect these times to get into the low 196's soon, but it
should be a while before we see a 197 speed.

BETA STATUS:
The first Beta was very good, but we improved it and fixed
and added lots of features. The Second beta had a problem
and we pulled it. We feel that all the fixes should be
in place for final beta on MONDAY, July 7th. After
Final Beta than FASTLAP 97 OFFICIAL version will be released
for all the tracks.
Why FASTLAP, Well I have been in 993 races at HAWAII and I
have 364 poles. Its alot easier to win from the pole than
deep in the pack. You can have the best race setup in the
world and be the best driver, but you got some dudes that
arent just gonna pull over and let you pass...
