FASTLAP 97 - NASCAR 2 RESULTS!!!

by Don Wilsh » Wed, 02 Jul 1997 04:00:00

Drivers:

We have received about 10 responese for the DEGA test
and I wanted to share some of the times.  We have got
a lot of great input from the drivers who are doing
the testing and DAVE MARTIN has several changes planned
for a next version.  The updates will be in the new
README.txt file.  What is interesting to me is that
some of the drivers qualified second to the one token
AI car that they were racing against.  It is also
very interesting to me that the range of speed with
the AI's car is like 3 mph.  I hope this is because
people are messing with the DRIVERS.TXT values and
not because NASCAR 2 works differently with different
hardware configurations.

Thanks for your support..

Lets see now how is provisionally fastest......

These qualifying laps were made with 22 gallons, 2
laps, 0 wind and 72 degrees.  I heard and saw alot
of boasting in the USENET about speed, but Its not
showing up yet....
