NASCAR - Anyone else having the same problems?

by m » Wed, 30 Dec 1998 04:00:00

When I selected the 3Dfx option, every time I tried to start the game
I got an error message that said "A required DLL file, GLIDE2X.DLL
was not found.  Then I tried the"Windows 95 Rasticiser" option
the program runs, but not right.  If I
don't let the entire Introduction scenes run at the beginning the
program closes whenever I try to select Race.  If I let the
Introduction run to completion, then I can configure my joystick, get
into Quick Race, and get into Championship. But if I touch any key on
the keyboard the program closes, and there are a bunch of key that
are supposed to turn things and displays on and off.  So that doesn't
work.  Also, whenever the program closes it scrambles all my desktop
icons.  I think thats because the program uses a 640 x 480 screen and
my desktop is a 600 x 800. So, whenever I launch the program it
converts my desktop to 640 x 480 and puts a bunch of my icons on top
of each other.
