Hi  to all of you !

I'am a new GP2-Driver and have a question:
Could someone explain me which tyres i should use
for qualifying and race. In the german-handbook there
is nothing about tyres and i could choose out of
7 sets (some maked with R other not).

I hope someone could help me - Thanks.

Ciao Thomas

I'm not sure exactly what you mean which tyres, as in 1994 rules there
was only one tyre compound taken by GoodYear to every race (except rain
tyres, maybe this is the R), so this is reflected in the game, all the
tyres are exactly the same. But you are limited to using 7 sets of tyres
per race weekend. So all that matters in choosing the tyres is the wear
of the set.

The R represents the Race Sets of Tires.

The R tyres [R1, R2, R3, R4] are tyres reserved for the race, depending
on what strategy you go for. They are exactly the same as the other
tyres, but are simply marked for race use. You can still use them for
qual or whatever.

You have 7 sets of tyres for each race, including qualifying.

The ones marked with an R are to indicate your race tyre sets, although
you can use these in qualifying if you wish?

To change tyre sets use your wheel, joystick, or keys to select which set
you want to use.

The R stands for RACE tyres.

You have 4 sets of race tyres, and 3 sets of qualifying tyres, but you
can use race tyres in qualifying if you wish.
