I'm running directX 9 and just noticed on windows update there is a directX
9b, just wondering if this update plays well with N2003. Anyone know of any
problems with 9b and the game? Any benefits?

9b is mainly a security hotfix, the original had a *** security flaw in
the directshow, enabling a www site to run its own executable code in IE.

I am fairly certain that Call of Duty made me install 9.0b and I've not had
any problems with NR2003 since personally. Didn't have any problems before
either (so you have a baseline). Seems to run just like it always has.

YMMV tho.
