Yes there is.. Go to your local software store abd buy the tool called
"Need for Speed".  This will give you what you want.

Sorry, I just had too :)   Editing this stuff for GPL would be nice for
about three or four laps.  Maybe as many as 30 laps before GPL gets put
on the shelf.  but that's just my opinion though.

Eeek!

You mean the standard issue 350-430 BHP (or whatever it is the Repco motor
in the Brabham and the BRM H-16 make respectively) going through those dinky
little narrow, hard compound, treaded tyres isn't enough to test your
skills?

We're not worthy...

Who has, just occasionally, wondered what a pre-war Mercedes/Auto-Union, or
the 1.5 litre, supercharged BRM V16 would be like to drive in a GPL style
physics model...

Is anyone aware of a project or if there is the ability to edit the
grip/power of the players car. It would be awesome to drive a 750hp brabham,
or a lotus on a slippery (wet) track. Or maybee a supercar... 1000hp with
loads of grip.. As long as on/offline racing wasnt effected, it would be
absolutley awesome.

excactly: there is a utility like that for GP2. You can tune your car to a
200kg 14000hp monster car with loads of grip or a 60hp 4000kg tank. It's fun
for half a lap but it ruins the challenge of the game after that.
