GPL Programmers - an FOV Question - Sort Of

I tried FOV. It's not what I'm looking for. But I did try the first version
of GPLFOV on my American release of GPL and whatever it did to the EXE is
exactly what I want. Problem is, it's unstable. Crashes all the time. Is
there any way to figure out what it is altering? Maybe make it do the same
thing but adjust it so it doesn't mess up the program?
