Is that the one who only touched up 5 tracks? Who narrowed the V1000
specs so closely that the V2k chips can not run without a private

Yep, his name is Mike Newhall. Also, V2K boards weren't even a gleam
in Rendition's eye at the time. Had he decided to stay at Papy, it's
MHO that N2, SODA, and GPL would be hard to match (graphics wise - AA
and all), as he had a way with code. I also believe that the fix for
the V2K cards would have come from Papy, and not anyone else.

3dfx-v2200 . It's sad that Microsoft can do better graphics than Papy . Go
look at the screenshots of monster truck 2 to see what i am talking about .

doesn't!
Duuh, SIMS must have a little less eye candy to reach equal fps.
So, for me, get rid of some eye candy...
