promising, especially of the cars. The physics of GPL appear to be much more
realistic and should be very nice in N3.
I am curious if the graphics will be crisper at the tracks. Even with my
PII-333mhz, 128mb Ram, 8mb Thriller, 21" monitor I get constant 30+fps in N2
now with everything possible "on" & "max'd" but the track graphics could be a
little cleaner ....aka.... ICR2-Rendition anti-alaising.
I will not be one of the people busting Sierra's chops to get the product in
the store, but I will be one screaming if the final product is not equivalent
in improvements like from N1 to N2. The 3rd generation of the game should be
getting close to "PC" perfection.
I will trade off the ability to change lugnut tension for crisper 3d graphics &
truer (sp?) physics. I'm sure everyone (majority anyway) just wants their
online & offline racing to be as close to the real sport as possible. This
includes...
1) Double file restarts
2) Enhanced "AI" - use that Tomahawk technology that's out there :)
3) Pit crew screwups
4) Changing weather as the day goes by.
5) Better damage model
Just my thoughts... I realize they've long past the point of development... now
its a matter of cleanup I'm sure. Regardless....this product has had me sold
since the first day I played the N1 demo. That first wreck in traffic was just
about as tense as when you drive the beltway of DC :)
