FIRST WARBIRDS CONVENTION PLANNED FOR SEPTEMBER
Date: Sep 5-8, 1996

Price: Registration Fee $120.00 per person. This fee includes
the meeting room, phone lines, food trays, beer, and a
Saturday night banquet as well as some other goodies.
Rooms: $70.00 per night. This is a flat rate that includes
single, double, triple or even quadruple occupancy.
Reserve your rooms prior to August 15 to reserve

and reserve your room with a credit card.
Airfare: American Airlines is sponsoring the air travel for
this convention. You can get a discounted airfare
from AA if you give them our group's number. The

Guests: We're working on getting some special guests to

Tours: There will be a tour bus going to the Cavanaugh Flight
Museum in Addison, TX. This Museum has some beautiful
warbirds in flying condition. Among them are a B-25J,
P51D, P-40N, Spitfire Mk VIII, F4U-4, TBF, He-111, and
more.
Systems: You can ship your system to the hotel ahead of time
if you don't wish to take it on the airline with you.
It is not mandatory for you to bring your system as there
will be systems available at the con (however, the number
of available systems will be limited). We plan on having
phone lines for 20-30 computers.
There's a lot of other stuff to do in the D/FW area too if you're
interested in some other activities. There's a lot of shopping,
nightlife, historical areas, golf, water sports, Six Flags, a
Cowboys home game on the 8th, etc. but who cares?<g>
