wolfgang is correct. i wouldn't call myself rich. i live in a upscale area
of the country, but i imagine that i am ordinary. when looking for a used
work car, my $13,000 could get me a 5 year old honda (or the likes), a new
truck, or an 8 year old convertible jaguar XJS. if my choices are a boring
little honda or one of the more beautiful cars on the planet (albeit
questionable mechanically), i'm taking the jag every time!
p.s. - i have had to pay $6,000 in the last year on repairs alone. i still
need a $1,8000 brake job, too. for pete's sake...
by the way, i understand that the 93 - 95 jags are much more reliable
mechanically. ford improved a lot of features, but, alas, the 12 cylinder
was no more.
