I would like to improve frames on Gp 2 . I heard on a recent trade fair
held in Milan, that this card can do miracles at this regard....

Anyone who run the above  already  can tell me  whether this is true or
merely commercial advises ?

It must be just a sales trick, Since F1GP2 do not suport any 3D cards.

Put your money of a faster CPU. The rendition based cards won't do much
with frame rates. I tried one, Intergraph's Reactor, and it was a bit
slower than my Hrcules dynamite 128

GP2 is not programed to take advantage of the 3D blaster - if you want a
speed advantage, buy a matrox mytique

Well it IS a decent card, but it also depends on what you have right
now. If you already have a 64-bit PCI video card, don't bother, but if
you have a 32-bit or less, then buy a PCI. I recommend a 3D
accelerator because although GP2 doesn't use it, other games will. And
a minimum of 2 megs ram is needed to run smoothly.

But if you're running on a crappy 486-66 like me, then forget it! Get
a board first! hehe

And what is the reasoning behind your comment? To my knowledge GP2
doesn't support Mystique natively, and Verite based boards are
among the fastest VESA 2.0 boards there are, like Mystique I guess.
What I'm trying to say is that you won't see a speed difference
between Verite and Mystique in GP2 ...
