On Speedvision's Legends of Motorsport right now (and probably repeated
later tonight) is the '67 Brands Hatch Race of Champions with all the GPL
cars/drivers we know and hate :-)

Incredibly fake sound (every car has the same engine) but nice video.

Hm.  Partial false alarm... the "GPL" footage was only the first five

Saw a special on SV a few weeks back about filming racing events back in the
50's and 60's.  Apparantly, the film crew would shoot the footage then add
sound during the editing.

All those Car and Track shows on Speedvision have sound added later,
and some movies back during that period added the entire soundtrack
later as well.
