gp3 tracks question

hi,

are you still limited to 16 (17?) tracks in gp3?  with all the addon
tracks available, do you still need a track manager or have they been
able to integrate the tracks like gpl?

since f1 2001 and f1rc, i have stopped playing gp3 and uninstalled it.
they don't sell the gp3 2000 patch here(cape town)  and i was
wondering if it has an improved track manager.

btw, for all you white xmas northern hemisphere types, its a sunny 31
degrees celsius here in cape town.  not a cloud in the sky and just a
gentle breeze out.  enjoy the winter :)

*ducks*

Don't rub it in - it is currently 20 degrees Fahrenheit (-7 Centigrade).
And on Monday my car heater fan wasn't working.  Luckily it just turned out
to be a loose connection.

That should have also said " ... here in Boulder, Colorado, USA ...."

It's only used outside good ol' USA. Although, some US scientists use it too.

Of course, the confusion over old and new forms of another kind of those
things (feet/meter) already crashed some space craft on some planet... ;)

mmm.

celsius also known as centigrade.
0 degrees C = freezing point of water
100 degrees C = boiling point of water
150 degrees C = temperature of McDonalds coffee. :)

sorry to the physics buffs if my description is flawed.  probably air
pressure and other factors have bearing as well.

so, 31 celsius = +- 88 farenheit.

and ahem, its 32 today :)

And was, originally, an internationally reknowned 18th century Swedish
scientist, who invented the scale -- Anders Celsius.

thanks for that bit of info.

mind you, after all this education, i still don't know if gp3 can
handle more tracks with the 2000 addon, but i guess it can't.

mind you i just reinstalled viper racing and will give leave gp3 to
gather dust for a few weeks more.  vr should be a nice diversion from
f1 2001.

[snip]

Yes, the 2000 add-on now support 17 tracks (GP3 was only 15 tracks
before based on the 1998 season).

These are the new features...

I also *highly* recommend that you install GPxPatch 2.03, and the
latest 2001 track-packs and carsets.
