Does anyone know if the mini games are only playable on line? The back of
the box states: "Mini-games go wild--12 new games now online!" We do not
race on-line and we like the mini-games as pictured on the game developers'
site.

Additionally, my sons and I have three PCs hooked up via a LAN; we want to
know if when we race on our LAN would we have just the three of us or are
there AI cars involved in the race?

Not sure about the LAN question, but I can tell you that the mini-games
are not exclusively online and can be played as part of the
single-player career mode (once unlocked through sufficient progress -
nothing too taxing.)

I do not believe you can use the AI in multiplayer races or with a LAN. I
could be wrong, but in looking at the LAN portion of the game, I saw no
option for adding AI.
