% Does anyone know how to get the triggers to work on the wheel
% for gas and break?
Info for NASCAR2 and should work for ICR2:
I would have to try this out myself, but it should work. I assume by
the triggers you are referring to the "levers" on the back of the wheel.
If you have an older GP1 (one that came with an adaptor), you can use it
without the adaptor. The adaptor is only needed for many native Win95
programs.
Without the adaptor, you will need to calibrate both joysticks in the
NASCAR2 program. Then you should be able to select the levers when
asked for gas/brake input. Of course this is in a pure DOS
environement. If you still can't get this to work, try deleting the
controls.cfg and calib.val files in the main NASCAR2 directory and then
restarting the program.
If you are trying to do this via Win95, get Thrustmaster's ProPanel
applet <ftp://208.129.210.78/pub/library/propanel.exe>. The set up the
GP1 in this applet. Be sure that it is the only device selected and
that it is device ID #1.
