Ed Martin:

I was reading the latest statement from Ed Martin where below he
says that you will be kicked out of the NRO if anyone thinks you
have any unfair advantage.  Obvioulsy the PAPYRUS people have
never participated in real racing.  Psychological warfare in
racing is a very big part of racing.  People that are racing
each other say and do all kinds of things to throw off your
competition.

I remember once when I was racing SCOTTY PRUETT at MESA in Bakerfield
and he was boucning washers off the ground and pertending that he could
hear the difference in the WASHERS for his clutches. He knew and we knew
that he wasnt really listening, but it sure make alot people start
tweaking in the wrong areas.  MIND GAMES and MISCONCEPTION are part of
racing.  This rule can never be enforced or should have never been
thought up.  If you people knew anything about racing you would have
never wrote this one..

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO
GARY NELSON IF HE WENT BEFORE THE DRIVERS AND CREW CHIEF AND TOLD
THEM THAT RICK HENDRICKS PEOPLE WERE KICKED OUT BECAUSE SOME
PERSON "THINKS" A MISCEPTION.  IN THE OLD DAYS YOU WERE GUILTY
WHEN PROVEN WITH EVIDENCE.  NOW YOU JUST CAN BE THOUGHT OF RACING!!

We have all had the your lectures about how you have all this fancy
software that is watching every move we make.  Why dont you use
that to kick people out?????????????????

My .01 cent

Don Wilshe, IVGA..

PS.     Its called BENCH RACING, and many a race was won and lost
before anyone even stepped on the track....

PSS.    I guess I have an unfair advantage as I have had the game
longer than most, worked harder at being fast than most,
Studied the hardware and software aspects of the game more
than most, and I will probably be kicked out because I'm
        to dam dedicated.
=====================================================================

Next on the topics list is speculation/misinformation on being able to
participate in the NRO.  Here's the simple deal, any individual or any
organization that has access to information that could overtly give them
an unfair advantage in the NRO, or that could give others the impression
that they have an unfair advantage in the NRO, will not be permitted to
participate in the NRO.  This policy has NOT been enforced on ANYONE as
of today with the exception of employees of Papyrus, NASCAR and Total
Entertainment Network.  We have, however, made proactive efforts to get
in touch with a few people and organizations that have been doing things
which might send up red flags in the future.  As required, we will
continue to proactively get in touch with people if we perceive any
potential future problem.  We want everyone to be able to participate
in the NRO, and we want to make all efforts to ensure that the NRO is
a fair and fun place to race.

Well Don when I was racing you filed a protest and if the offender did
not or would not let the officials do what was ever needed to judge
the claim OR if they did find you were cheating you were OUT and lost
all points that you had until then.

BUT in your case why don't you just take your ball now and go home!

YOU are the biggest CRY BABY I have ever seen!! All you do is create
rumors and conflicts!
GET A LIFE!
When you play a game you play by the rules and the rules are set by
the one who provides the game, in this case it seems to be NASCAR &
Papyrus are running the game so they get to make the rules. If you
don't like that then START YOUR OWN GAME!

From what I have seen about your "fast lap" ***in some REAL racing
you would have been dealt with officially or otherwise by your fellow
racers later for pulling something like that where you could get setup
info WITHOUT their consent!

YEAH RIGHT..........BARF..........lotta work trying out all those
setups!

It was stated that IF they THINK there is cheating going on THEY WILL
investigate and if it is,  YOU ARE OUT! AND THAT IS WHAT IT SHOULD BE!

Is that too much for you to handle?

[snip]

Come on, Don!  We all know that is not what they meant by 'unfair
advantage.'

BTW, you're the only one I know that could afford to drop $3000+ on
Hawaii.  My wallet isn't deep enough to warrant that kind of
dedication!  :-)
