I have it around 90-100%, and it revs from 0-17000 as fast as I can press the
accelerator?

I really think you're confusing the two of them here :o). Many have complained
the last two years about the AI in GP2 giving up the corners to easy. They will
even leave the racing line if you only have your front wheels just in front of
their rear wheels. This is of course at ace level, I have no idea how they
behave at other levels.

I guess if you enter the first corner last you will never have this problem ;o).
