It might be a good way to get a racecar round a corner but for driving
any vehicle on public roads where there is two way traffic it is the
wrong technique because it does not seek to maximise the forward
visibility.

After a particularly intense day of GPL, I went to get something to eat.  While
accelerating, I kept reaching to stab the gearshift lever...
I drive an AUTOMATIC, folks... :-)

eat.  While accelerating, I kept reaching to stab the gearshift lever...

Back when ICR1 was new,  I played it alot...It had Mega Brakes and lots of
downforce so as a newbie sim driver, I learned ZERO about lines and such.
Once Icr2 came out...I was hopelessly ruined...  But in the real world,
I used to scare my family cuz even at stoplights I'd be waiting til the very LAST
possible moment to brake, and then I'd brake HARD.  :>  And tailgaiting???
Even my wife didn't want to be a passenger...
