What am I doing wrong... whatever I try I only get VGA
grafics at ICR2.. The opening sequence is VGA and when
I change things in de grafics options menu  I stil only get Vga grafics...
A little bit strange considering I'm playing
the game on a P100 with 16 mB....

Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong ????

Make sure you launch the game with the -h extension.  This is how you
specify svga.  Use the command "indycar -h" to run the game in SVGA.

You must load the game using the -h switch (C:\Icr2\Indycar -h).

Type: Indycar -h

This will start in High Resolution mode.

If you have a configureable disk cache and make it larger than 4MBs,
then you could be losing too much memory to support the SVGA.  (I once
did that.)

When you first bring up the INDY2 game did type in
"INDYCAR -h".  The -h is high RES(SVGA).  This will get you into the
High RES SVGA mode.  Graphics menu just sets what detail you want on.
There are other options also for sound etc.

I hope this is what is wrong,
