Not necessarily true.  I've run 238.576 with the car that came with the
demo.  I believe it is the same as the EASY.STG file.  I thought the
ACE.STG pushed too bad for my tastes.

Try 237 mph at michigan with the ***setup that comes with the ICR2 demo.

But it will black flag you for going too fast in the pit lane (80mph).

Also -- has anyone just sort hung around for the race to finish and then
pull into the pits and pressed ESC?

          Correction! Today I ran a 236.128 using the stock setup on the
ICR2 demo by taking T1 at WOT and backing off slightly at the entrance to
T3, which I still can't find a line to take wide open. This game, being so
much smoother than its predecessor, is so much more enjoyable to play. I
really am getting to love it and I'm waiting for the final version. Laguna
Seca, which was a chore using such choppy graphics, is so much more
pleasant and fun here... I really love this game!

Why? Doesn't seem to have done you much good..... Personally I've run 240.522 and there's other
guys on the CompuServe series running 241+. Looks like some practice required....?

     Great! Oops... forgot one thing! On the 236.128 run, I was using a
Cosworth engine, Reynard Chassis and Goodyears. I think a few people here
have seen the game in stores already. I'll be stopping by Babbages this
afternoon for sure! Actually, I just got a "brochure" from Papyrus in the
mail concerning it. I'm not sure if it's been asked here or not, but will
there be an expansion that includes IMS? Hm... wonder if I can use the IMS
expansion pack from the first game ; ) ...just kidding!
