IVGA - FASTLAP (BRISTOL) STATUS

by Don Wils » Sun, 19 Nov 1995 04:00:00

Just heard last night from the software departmetn on FASTLAP and they
told me that they might have a version tonight available that:

Allows for a controlled FASTLAP qualifying at all 16 tracks and
as you know here at the IVGA we set all conditions to:
2 laps, 85 degrees, damage on, yellow on, etc. and this is
described better on our web pages in SOFTWARE FOR ***.

Second this same version has reimplemented the software that
we orginally release that had SHOWDOWN, RUMBLE, GRINDER and
CHILLER.  We have no date limit as the previous games timed
out and did not provide .rst files after SEPT.

and I will send you a version as I will hvae to check out
software before we upload, so the final version may not hit
        our BBS before Tuesday.

YES YES YES we will do the same thing for INDYCAR 2 and we plan
to launch a set of series 3/5 for INDYCAR 2 that has this same
sort of special software in it.....

RACE96 is getting closer as we had to develop special software
to do the scoring from the .pcx files.. what a trick converting
        rasters to characters with recogniction

We encourage all the people to go to the publications section
and check out our new posting on driving and setting up your nascar.
You will find JOE FARR's advice for driving ATLANTA

Also we expect Joe's Preliminary version of BRISTOL soon so if you
want it before its posted .. join the IVGA and email me

Thanks for your suppor we have 210 drivers now
