Rick Genter: Bug Report!

Rick,  I encountered the following bug??? tonight while playing ICR2.
 The setup is as follows.

100% distance
90% opponents
max cars shown
6 ahead
2 behind
random weather
auto graphics
arcade damage
pace lap on
yellows on

I was running at michigan and had qualified first.  On the warm up
lap as we entered the final turn and positioned high up on the bank I
came to a complete stop, causing all of the other cars to stop.  I
then tapped the reverse key for just a sec so as to turn the external
view to looking backwards for a glimpse of the field.  As soon as I
did this the message "stay behind #??" came up on the screen.
However as soon as the pace car had pitted and the flag droped I was
right to run and I was not black flagged.  However as soon as the
message appeared the pack started to drive past me again.

I know this is not something you would usually do in a race but I was
just experimenting and thought you might be interested if you have
not already encountered this one.

Also I only discovered the -h option the other day burried 2/3rds of
the way into the manual.  I had been running in VGA and commenting on
how poor the graphics were.  I am very happy with the SVGA but ould
have thought a menu option to change would have stood out better.

Thanks anyway and hope this is of some help.

You should consider looking in the Installation and Troubleshooting Guide that
came with the game.  The high res (-H) instructions are listed under Starting
IndyCar II.   Of course, maybe Papyrus should have placed that on the outside
of the box too.....

This is a variation of the yellow flag bug. All I can say is that we're
working on it.
