Hi Rick,

  Just wanted to say a quick thanks for all the input and info
that you add to this group. As for me, I'd love to see a
newsgroup dedicated just to Nascar and Indycar where we could
get really serious about tracks and set-ups.
  BTW, no need to worry about any "wannabe" sim attempts that
are showing up (NFS)... Nascar blows it away and is still #1.

P.S. I just installed Win95 and I can run Nascar from Windows
(not MSDOS mode) with no problem unless I forget to turn off
the screen-saver. On my P90 with 24 meg ram there is no
apparent loss in frame rate. I'm looking forward to what the
future may hold with these killer sims and the new breed of 3D
graphic boards.  Ahh... life is sooo sweet!

Yup. I too created a shortcut for Nascar, and it defaulted to rebooting
into dos mode. I tried it that way, and then changed the settings to
suggest dos mode and don't detect windows. Works great on my P5-100 with 32
mb ram.
