When I started out with GPL a couple of months ago
I read something about using a voodoo/glide wrapper
by somebody in order to be able to lower the
rear mirrors update frequency from 8 hz to 3hz
for increased framerate.
Unfortuntely I seem to be unable to find
the page that talked about it again now that I
need it ,and neither can I find the intended wrapper
to download.
Does anybody recognize this or have
any hints on where to get read more about it?

Ok,found it after a quick scan.
The Fast Lane was one of the places where I had looked for it,
but I must have missed it as it was only mentioned on the last
row in the description for the 3dfx/banshee patch

hmmm,I just discovered that it seems to be designed
only for version 2.X of Glide.......

I'm currently using glide 3.03 (with double V2's from canopus)
Doesn't that mean I have to "downgrade" to Glide 2.53 if I want to use it???...
And is that to be recommended?

GPL uses glide 2.x and your canopus drivers should also have a 2.x
version ready (should be 2.56) - check it under settings/display ...
