Bill who also almost wishes F1-2002 is late so he can keep playing
GT2001 V3.

I agree. They are close enough for me to drive the track then watch the
race and have a pretty good idea of where the cameras are looking and
have some understanding of why drivers go off in certain places.

Personally I think you would have to be extrememly ***to not play the
game with the best F1 physics just because the tracks are a little bit
different.

It is a game after all. All games have compromises (for that matter so do
all simulations).

> Then GPL is no sim either..

Errr you're challengine the GPL tracks?  I'm sorry but even the little
historical innacuracies possible in GPL tracks are nothing compared to the
poor basic mistakes of ISI's.

Of course not.  I debated that long ago ;)

In actual fact, at Austria there were 21 passes for position during
the race. That doesn't count the entire first lap. It doesn't count
passing in the pits. It only counts if you pass a car and remain in
front until the end of that lap. It obviously doesn't count lapping
people. And it definitely doesn't count that MS/RB fiasco.

Try watching on the F1 Digital service - you never know, you might
grow to like F1 eventually.

On another note, Laguna this weekend.... I want a CART sim!
