I agree the collision physics are pretty bad, compared to the rest of
the game. Right now, it's like your car is a tennis ball that bounces
off whatever it touches. Realistic collision physics is pretty
cutting edge stuff though, and probably several CPU generations away
from being feasible for a PC game.
A little more leeway sounds like a good compromise, especially with
warp, etc.
What exactly is the bug w. the pacecar at Martinsville? Didn't they
have a really bad time with this in N4?
