Wingman Foumula calibration problem

I got a Wingman Formula (non force feedback) for Xmas.  It worked fine
the first time I played my IndyCarII game, but then I got a lockup.
Ever since I get a lock during calibration even in the Wingman
software.  Nascar2 works fine but nothing else.  I've tried removing
and reinstalling the controller and software to no avail.  Anyone have
any ideas, or know a website with some tips on this issue.  Thanks
Ralph

Make sure you set all the axis' (axi?) That is, your acc. and brake are an
axis setting. It took me a while to figure this out in GPL. Good luck

I too got a Logitech Formula for Christmas but ICR2 and N2 don't even
recognize the wheel's existence.  GPL and N3 on the other hand work just
fine.  Suggestions anyone?

I solved my problem with a patch I found at wingmanteam.com.
Its a patch that helps resolve problems that some have with DX 7.

I also had probs with some games.
Found out that a split-axis-on gets some games not to recognize the wheel at
all.
Always start a new game with combined-pedals-on. when anything is running fine,
change to split-axis and recalibrate. If not working, you know about reason.
