GPL - talk about bad timing

Man, do I have bad timing.  Tuesday night, the night
before GPL hit the stores here in the USofA, I was
driving a few laps around Imola with F1RS when I heard
and felt the dreaded snap of my T2 brake spring.  I e-mailed
Thrustmaster yesterday (Wednesday) for the replacement.
Their website says it will take from 7 to 10 working
days (is this right?).

So, I go to Electronic Boutique on Wednesday.  No luck,
they don't have it yet. I returned today (Thursday) and was
stoked to see it on their New Releases shelf.  Snapped
up my copy and headed back for work (but not after perusing
the two excellent looking manuals).

The kicker - tonight I'm flying to Minnesota to be in a
wedding!  I won't even get a chance to load this sucker
on my computer until I return on Monday.

Aaarrrrgggghhhh!!!

Well, at least you have GPL, I gotta wait another week or so for the
release date here in the UK!  At least I don't have a T2 (if I did, I
would keep a dozen spare springs), so my springs are just awaiting to
pounce on GPL ;-)
I hope you get your wheel going real soon, enjoy the wedding, and stop
thinking about race cars!

Dave--I live in Minneapolis, so if you just want to bring the game
with you, you can test it out here... :)
