Mirror problem in GPL

by Sid Chappl » Fri, 19 Dec 2003 23:11:29

Just installed the Nvidia 53.03 vid drivers from Leadtek for my Leadtek GF4
Ti4200 and now the mirrors have gone weird in GPL. They are showing what is
out to the sides of the track just ahead instead of what is behind on the
track. Monza it happens for the entire lap and Monaco it happens for about
1/2 the track. I'm running in ogl as i have for the last year or so and
never had this happen before with any other Nvidia drivers.
Thanks for any help,
Sid.

In display properties, set buffer flipping mode to Block Transfer.

Thanks for that Malc and Dan. Setting the buffer flipping mode to Block
Transfer mode fixed the problem in OGL and it also runs fine in D3D. Just
got to test now whether or not the text corruption problem is still there in
D3D with these drivers.
Anyone know what they changed in the 53.03 drivers for OGL not to work with
buffer flipping set to Auto Select? Never had this problem before, I was
using 45.32 prior to these new drivers.
Thanks,
Sid.
