Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to use the pace car as a race car (for the
player or for any AI driver?) If so, how can it be done ? Where is the pace
car file ? Is there any need of special modification to files so that it
can run just as any other race car and not as 'pace' speed ? This could
allow to have kind of an 'IROC' race, but with Camaros instead of Firebirds...

Also, is it possible to change the logos of the car manufacturer in the
driver info screen ? So that instead of appearing Ford, Chevy and Pontiac
logos someone could use BMW, Audi, Mercedes Benz logos.. or any other logo
(this logo is changed by just clicking on it).

Also, one question for the European fellow racers: are there any BTCC cars in
the web for Nascar 2 ? I used to run the BTCC carsets in N1, but I haven't been
able to find more than one Audi for N2. In fact I'm looking for any conversion
to BMW, Volvo, Mercedes, Renault, if not painted at least the basic scheme.
(I guess it's too much obsesion with European cars isn't it :-) ??).

Thanks,
Arturo

The pacecar MIP file is stored in the cars.dat file in the Nascar2\cars
folder, but I don't think you can use it as a car.  The manufacturer
logos are stored in the layout.dat in your Nascar2\layout folder.  I
have a link on my utilities page to the program you need to pack and
unpack these files.
