Guillemot reduces support for Thrustmaster products

maybe not latest news, but I read this snippet today on www.gamesmania.com

Produkte in Thrustmaster-Tradition herstellen, so Guillemot.

Translated into english:

After taking over Thrustmaster Guillemot has declared that the legendary
Thrustmaster-support has to be reduced drastically.
Thrustmaster has gained tremendous popularity with sim-players worldwide by
sending replacement parts for defect products even after the warranty
period - a service that was used regularly because of  the sometimes fragile
products due to problems with quality assurance.
This will end now. Guillemot decided to support the products only during the
one-year warranty (because of a shortage of replacement parts). However,
Guillemot assured they were searching for solutions to carry on the great
Thrustmaster tradition...

I won't comment further on this except that this, unfortunately, had to be
expected...

Sigh...  Anyone know where I can BUY steering potentiometers
for my GP1?

[snip]

Hmm, and this was one of the main reasons that we were prepared to pay the
extra money for Thrustmaster products. I guess I won't do that again now. It
is a sad decision for me though, as I still consider their flight gear top of
the line.

Thank you Pre-guillemot Thrustmaster for the years that has been.

Cheers,
