Few facts about TM Nascar Pro wheel and Guillemot tech support (Guillemot
bought Thrustmaster recently).

- I bought TM Nascar Pro on 10 July 1999, knowing that I'm not buying
reliable and good quality product, but reading this news group I had
impression that Thrustmaster tech support used to be very good, dealing with
problem very fast (they send you pots and springs in a week). Now Guillemot
is supporting all Thrustmaster products.

- Some 40 days ago wheel pot went bad (jittering, spiking). I clean pot and
that helped me for next few days, but problem returned and I realized that
pot has to be changed. In mean time brake spring got broken. All after 3
months of use.

- I call Guillemot tech support explaining my problem and asking for a new
pots and springs. They said that I should fax them proof of purchase and
list of parts I need. I fax my order on 16 November 1999.

- I wait for confirmation that they received fax. Nothing came. I sent
e-mail asking for confirmation of fax reception.

- They answered that they just received only one page and that I should send
it again.

- This time I scanned receipt and sent by e-mail.

- They responded and estimated a delivery time of one and a half weeks.

- Today is 20 December and last e-mail I received from Guillemot tech
support was on 17 November 1999 (giving delivery estimation on one and half
weeks).

- In last 2 weeks I sent them 3 e-mails asking what happened with my order,
cause it was 33 days since they received my order and 33 days I cannot use
wheel.

- They didn't even bother to answer my e-mail!

P.S.

Anybody who wants to buy Guillemot/Thrustmaster products should think about
this. They are low quality products, and with this kind of support you
should question deal you're making. Every three months there's good chance
that something will go wrong with wheel (pots,springs...). I'm already
waiting 33 days and even don't know what's happening with order, cause
nobody from Guillemot answers my e-mails.

Should I just throw wheel in garbage and forget everything, or there is
something more I can do?

33 days without GPL. Isn't that too hard punishment?
