I will attach my settings below. I love the AL Force RS wheel and it could
be your processor. However, did you adjust the settings in the core.ini
file?
Here is what I use:
[ Joy ]
allow_force_feedback = 1 ; Use FF if device has
it
force_feedback_damping = 093.000000 ; force feedback damping
coefficient
force_feedback_latency = 0.000005 ; force feedback latency
(secs)
max_steering_torque = 105.000000 ; steering torque in N*in
giving max device force
I hope this helps.

[ Joy ]
allow_force_feedback = 1 ; Use FF if device has it
force_feedback_damping = 40.00 ; force feedback damping coefficient
force_feedback_latency = 0.095 ; force feedback latency (secs)
max_steering_torque = 230.00 ; steering torque giving max device force
Also I have everything in Control Panel at 100% except for auto centering
(I have that turned off).

BTW - I tried the Logitech Wingman FF and the Act Labs is much better
IMO. Give these settings a shot. You won't find a better FF wheel on
the market especially when you combine it with the RS Shifter...

Here is a stupid question
Are these settings for the N3.ini file? If they are, do I just add them
to the 2 lines I'm already using? (the ones described in the N3 readme
file)
force feedback in N3.(specifically more center spring)

Before you buy.
AFAIK, Having them listed at 200 and your center spring at 100% in the
Act-Labs setup is the best you can do. However, make sure you have the
"always use" box checked because I know having the centering spring on 100%
on the Force RS is STRONG <VBG>

It takes a painfully long time in GPL to shift from 5th gear down to 1st. A
perfect place for gated shifting!

I don't hink your PC is to slow, my wheel is working fine on my P2 266. When
running a race though I have to decrease grafics and some other stuff. This is
not something that the wheel is responsable for but your cpu. Try these settings
in training mode and let me know what you think (anyone else to).
Device driver:
General Force gain: 80 %
Damper Force: 20 %
Spring Force: 100 %
Game specific:
Fully linear stearing
core.ini:
[ Joy ]
allow_force_feedback = 1
force_feedback_damping = 5.000000
force_feedback_latency = 0.000005
max_steering_torque = 150.000000
