        How do I connect the two with the metal bar provided? I see where
it screws in on the shifter, but where does it***in on the steering
wheel?

I don't think it screws into the wheel.  I think
the bar screws into the shifter and then the bar
gets clamped on the desk under the wheel.  At
least that is how I've been using mine.
