I want to race my 9 year old over our home LAN and he can't yet handle the
full Grand Prix car well enough to race... but I can't seem to find a way to
pick the trainer cars.... am I spazing ?

what you need to do is open his player.ini file, it is located in the
c:\sierra\gpl\players\Wheatley__Tim\ folder on my install.

edit the driver rating to the selection below:
3 = Grand Prix Car
2 = Advanced Trainer
1 = Trainer
then save it and have fun

No, no..get him to show some damned respect - put yourself in a Lotus F1,
and him in an F3. What track do you recon on boys - Spa???

My son is almost 3 years old!! I have to put the pedals on a box, but
he CAN drive -at very low speed of course. Shifting gears is still too
much trouble. A Michael Schumacher in spe, I recon... ;-)
