GPL Trainer and Advanced Trainer

The original plan was to incorporate F2 and F3 cars in the sim, but I
read somewhere this decision has been revised to include a trainer (ie
F3 car) and advanced trainer (ie F2 car).

Are these cars based on any particular design or just general
performance implementations?
