GPL: Using adv. trainer in a race

Following Alison Hine's writeup, I edited "player.ini" setting "driverRating
= 2" so that I could drive the "Advanced Trainer" in a race. When you do
this, do the AI drivers also drive the same types of cars or are they in the
full GP cars? I ran a race at Monza and noticed that the winner was cutting
laps close to the track record -- was he probably driving a full GP car?

If the AI drivers were all in GP cars while I was in the trainer, then I
don't feel quite as bad about how far back I finished :-). I also used the
"driver.ini" file that scrambles the driver ordering, so I was able to beat
a couple of the slower drivers.

You should be able to also download a Drivers.ini (slow) file that will make
them slower.
