Whether you liked it or not, Days of Thunder was very popular amongst the
whole Nascar family...
Since its is based on real people and real events I don't think you have to
worry about any flying man hole covers. I'd still like to know how Sly and
the other guy sot those cars started. LOL

In my opinion he outdid himself. He did a great job. Lots of the filming was
done in Kannapolis at an old millhouse similar to where Dale was raised.
One note about the garage in the backyard, it is made out of foam! I was
lucky to be in one of the shots.
Dale and I were fishing buddies. I will tell you Barry Pepper talked to me
and several of Dales friends and genuinely wanted to get it right. Barry is
a class act, a genuine class act. I don't believe anyone could have done a
better job.
I think he did Dale right. You be the judge.

Your tape player is at the shop? Are you kidding me? Nobody gets a
tape player fixed. Go buy a stereo HIFI for $30 anywhere. Better yet
get a tivo.
I was thinking the same thing. ***-Mart probably sells em for 30-40 bucks.
I havent used mine in ages. I think i last used it to tape the Daytona 500
a couple years ago when i went ice fishing. Pay for the shipping Tom, and
i'll mail it to ya ! ;)

So-so at best imo. Very generic. Seemed like they tried to do to much in
the time span of the movie.
