Anybody else find the mystery voice in Indy Car II?

by Alla » Sat, 17 Feb 1996 04:00:00

I was playing around with Indy Car 2 the other day and I came accross a mystery voice saying
"Hey what was that??"

I was told by Tech Support that I was the first to mention it.....

That really surprises me..... surely someone else out there has found it?

If so, let me know!!

  Hello Allan,
You can hear the "voice" anytime you wish. All you have
to do is rear-end the pace car at a good speed and you will
here what the pace car driver has to say about it.

hmmm, a little disgruntled?  I haven't run across any bugs in ICR2 yet
and they definitely handle better then NASCARs.  I never quite managed
230 at Michigan in NASCAR...

Strange, they answered my e-mail.

How do you mean Nascars handle better? The indycars in ICR2 are a bit
touchy when you first start (too _much_ power I think), but at high
speeds they blow Nascars away. You can corner much faster in the
indycars (kept it over 240MPH through the corner at Talladega - you
can't do that in a Nascar!).

The Tech Support Rep must have been new or confused.  The pace car Easter Egg
has been known about from day one, first with the ICR2 beta testers finding
it and later, during the first week of its release, the hard core race sim
fans were posting about it here.  Congrats on finding it, but you are several
months old. :)
