Noticed Dave Noonan's Imola this morning at the Norway Pits. Damn, I
should be reading these news more often. Downloaded it, but alas,
the game announces having failed to load it and aborted the weekend
whenever I try to get there. :/ Has anyone experienced something
similar?

don't try installing it from the zip, u must unzip to a folder first

Got it fixed. For some reason the installer program had decided to
simply unload a horrible pile of .3do files in the /imola directory
instead of actually installing them. I simply reran the prog and
it worked fine. There must be something minor wrong with mr. Noonan's
install routines, because I had to install Brands Hatch twice too
before the track would hatch properly (or then I just suck).

As for the track itself, it is nothing short of fabulous. When I
was doing my first reconnaissance laps on a Cooper today, it was just
jaw-dropping to realize how horribly the track has been maimed since
the sixties. It's really as bad as Monza.
