CH Pedals and LWFF - How?

I realize this has been thoroughly discussed over the last couple of weeks,
but I blithely ignored it 'cause I didn't have a FF wheel. After all the
raving about FF and GPL 1.1, I bought a LWFF, but want to continue using my
CH pedals.

I know you are supposedly able to plug the pedals into the gameport, and run
the wheel on the USB or serial port. Fine, got the wheel working, but I
cannot get it to recognize my pedals plugged into the gameport. Windows and
GPL both refuse to acknowledge their existence. I've tried installing
various sorts of controllers in the hope it would see the pedals, but no
***. The gameport (SB Live!) is working fine - I was using a non-FF wheel
there, and my MS joystick works if I plug it in.

I even tried Dejanews, but they lag by a month...

On my system, I found that I had to install the game port and the controller on
the game port before the Logitech is installed. If the Logitech was installed
first, the game controller would not let me add a controller.

Keith.

You can do what i did, i have remove all the wiring from my Logitech pedal
including the female power connector and after that i remove all the wiring from
the CH Pedal i have bought this morning. And then i have install the Logitech
wiring into the CH Pedals, but i have kept the CH potentiometers. You will need
to increase the lenght of
all wires. I have done it all without cutting either the Logitech or CH wiring.
You need
resin, an iron solder to do the job. Once done you can use your combo anywhere
!!!

Bye Coco
