CART PR and seperate brake/throttle axis

Is it possible? It only uses one peddal for both brake and throttle. Press
full it is throttle at the center is neutral and if I release the peddal it
brakes. This is BAD!

Anyone can help?

Most of the reviewers who gave CPR high marks do not know
auto racing or autoracing sims.
