Just after Christmas my son bought an Amiga 500, complete with that
stereo-sound monitor, external HDD, over 60 games and applications, for
AUS$50-00.
The Amiga sims (I remember them well!) run and look far better on the Amiga
than the equivalent PC game does on the PC. For example, the original Amiga
GP1 looks great.....so does Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe. But the PC
version, with 16 colour VGA, is woeful!
Yep, the Amiga could certainly have been THE *** platform....if only.
