If the PSX version has already been released in the U.K., why is it not even
on on the timeline list for the stores in the U.S., like Software,ETC?  Is
it a licensing thing or something?

Maybe they (Codemasters, I guess) don't think you'd want
it as rallying isn't big in the US and you wouldn't know
who Colin McRae is ?  Same thing happened with their
TOCA Touring Car game.

It's more related to the release and delay from coding the NTSC PSX version
for TOCA, but in any case, they had some difficulty initally finding a US
distrubutor to take it on.

It's still a pretty brave move, though.
