Hey guys. Just got Need for Speed Underground yesterday.
After a little trial and error getting the pedals to accellerate, it's
working great now except for one little thing.
With FF turned on ("Vibration" as it's called in the Underground
menu), Force Feedback works fine most of the time but then there's an
awful clicking sound inside the Momo housing that doesn't seem to be
sending any sort of force feedback to the wheel. It's so loud and
annoying that I had to turn vibration off.

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

I imagine there's the possibility that the wheel has broken inside but
this game is the only one that happens in so I'm leaning towards the
game being the problem.

Thanks.

Bah. Nevermind. Found out what it was.
I have a Gravis Eliminator Aftershock controller that is sitting right
next to the wheel. The aftershock was getting the force feedback
signals even though I was using it. It was vibrating against the wheel
housing.

Does the Logitech Momo work well?

I was thinking about getting it.

Thanks

Oh yeah, I love it.
The feel of it is so solid, you can tell Logitech put some thought
into the design.
Force Feedback effects are very nice although NFS:Underground seems to
be a bit skimpy on them.
I don't think you could go wrong with it.

Can any of you perhaps mention the best racing wheels which work on both
Playstation 2 and PC?
Doesn't matter whether or not it supports force feedback. I already know
about 2 Logitech wheels but I haven't look up yet if they're any good, and
don't know any others. This MOMO wheel doesn't seem to work on PS2 according
to he logitech website.

Don't know what your price range is like, but one good option is the ActLabs
ForceRS wheel. It uses a cartridge system to adapt it to PC, PS2, and
others. Here's a link to the manufacturer:

reviews: http://www.bhmotorsports.com/article/73 ,
