I keep reading bad things about the GPL Shifter from Actlabs - springs going
on the gates, no high/low sequential shifterplate anymore etc etc

I only want a sequential one really - preferably with postage to the UK that
doesnt equate to daylight robbery

Just use a joystick, most games now support multiple axis, map your up and
down shift keys to the joystick axis....Push pull...works great.

Funkadellic. BRD have one in the 'beta' process as it were - which is
actually what I would like to go for ( the pedals are the DB's - and I'll be
getting their FFB whell as long as it's not more than about 500 to replace
my momo)

There's also some strange japanese company making gear stick units (for 60
odd) - but postage is as much as the product!!

Good suggestion -it's something I've tried in the past - and whilst a bit
dodgy and heath robinson - it DID work - but it wasnt great as I didnt have
somewhere suitable to mount the joystick.

With the right sort of stick - this could be quite cool.
